Candice Blackwood founded BEP Inc. after seeing how often accessibility is met on paper and missed in practice. She leads the firm’s audit methodology, and holds a simple position: compliance on paper is not the same as a usable website.

BEP exists because of a document that could not be read: a PDF that wasn’t tagged properly, so a screen reader couldn’t get through it. That's the barrier KindlyDone was built to remove — and the same instinct now runs through everything BEP builds, across the web, audio, physical spaces, housing, and AI.
